Hi Sac Users,
I need some help. I have two sac traces which need to be normalized on same
scale. Can any body provide me a script for accomplishing this task. Also,
please find both the sac traces attached here. These are just the example
traces, while I need to do the same job on several traces as well.
Thank you very much.
Regards,

Re: Need help - George Helffrich - 2018-02-27 00:31:31
Hi all,
I am trying to read a SGY file into SAC. I went through older messages in SAC help and I saw it could be done directly using read command in SAC. But when I try it I get the following message: "Error 1301: No data files read in". I there any SGY to SAC convertor that I shall use before reading the data?
Best regards,
Zoya

I have downloaded the sac sources, but I have some question to install it.
when I use the configure to create Makefile, some errors appear.
The question is that the error information is tell me the developer library ncurses isn't installed,
but I checked the Centos7_64 system, the ncurses have installed. why the question still appear?
Another, When I use the configure option --disable-ncurses, the error information still appear.
How can I resolve the question?
If there is no go…

Hi, I'm having trouble with FK analysis in SAC. Whenever I try to run "bbfk" I get a segmentation fault. This seems to be irrespective of what parameters I choose to set or leave alone. I am running under OSX on a macbook pro. My student has the same problem, running under OSX on a mac mini. The exact command on our (on life support) Sun server works just fine and provides exactly what I expect.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix? I plan to have my student use my own code…
