Dears,
Is there a method to convert .sac to .txt files? I have three
components files and I am needing to convert the files to ascii or txt, and
create a single txt file composed for 3 column in sequence Z, N, E with the
amplitudes of each component.
I will be very grateful for your help!
best,
Guilherme

Hello-
I have a bunch of events with picks from an outside program that I would
like to add into SAC event files so that I can use them with a pre-existing
routine. The pre-existing routine looks for picks made with PLOTPK that
also contain phase onset, label, direction, and quality as set by the user
in PPK, i.e. (IPU0) or (EP-4) or (ISU1), etc.
I can add the pick timing information to the header using chnhdr: i.e.
chnhdr a gmt $pick_year $pick_jday $pick_hour $pick_minute $pick_second
$pick_m…

Hello,
I have an issue about running sac on Mac. I have installed sac on my Mac OX system, but when I try to run it, an error comes like:
“dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/X11/lib/libSM.6.dylib
Referenced from: /usr/local/sac/bin/sac
Reason: image not found”
I have checked the Xquartz has been successfully installed. So could you please help me what’s going on? Thank you.
Regards,
Bingxu

Web Service Users-
An error in the irisws-sacpz service has been discovered. Rather than continue to distribute inaccurate information, we have rolled back to an earlier version of the sacpz service until we can resolve the problem. This will only affect users that have been getting their SACPZ metadata from the following endpoint:

Users that have retrieved SACPZ information since February 4th of this y…
